We are hiring a Avionics Technician to join Beacon Research in Naperville.

About the role
You'll install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft electronic systems: communication and navigation radios, transponders, autopilots, instrumentation, and wiring harnesses. You'll run functional tests with specialized equipment, trace faults through schematics, complete repairs to standard, and document every task in the aircraft's technical records to keep it airworthy and compliant with Transport Canada requirements.
What you will bring
You have formal avionics training and hands-on experience on fixed-wing or rotary aircraft. You're meticulous with documentation, patient with intermittent faults, and you never sign off work you haven't verified. Progress toward an AME E licence is a strong asset.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma in avionics or aircraft electronics from a recognized program
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing aircraft electrical and avionics systems
- Working knowledge of Transport Canada airworthiness and documentation requirements; AME E licence or progress toward it an asset
- Eligibility to work in Canada
